Amy Gregario crowned Mrs. International 2013!

July 20, 2013, 70 women competed for the title of Mrs. International 2013, and Amy Gregario from Illinois went home with the crown.  Gregario will spend her year continuing her work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, as well as representing the Mrs. International alliance with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women.

After an opening number in sexy cocktail dresses by Sherri Hill, the contestants were narrowed down to 15 semi-finalists: Ashley Bentley (Alabama), Susan Huntley (Northeast), Michelle Berndt (Texas), Kristin Melton (Midwest), Brandy Wendler (Northwest), Ceylone Boothe Grooms (New Jersey), Maggi Thorne (Nebraska), Sanam Azeem (Pakistan), Trudy Davies Davis (Georgia), Amy Gregorio (Illinois), Laura Valenti (Louisiana), Rocky Harrigan (Alaska), Amber Wandtke (Virginia), Keikilani Ho (Hawaii), and Quynci Joyner (Arkansas).

The semi-finalists then competed in an onstage question and the audience was introduced to their personal platforms.  The semi-finalists were then taken down to the Top 10 finalists who competed in Fitness and Evening Wear.  The top 10 finalists were: Michelle Berndt (Texas), Brandy Wendler (Northwest), Ceylone Boothe Grooms (New Jersey), Maggi Thorne (Nebraska), Sanam Azeem (Pakistan), Amy Gregorio (Illinois), Laura Valenti (Louisiana), Rocky Harrigan (Alaska), Amber Wandtke (Virginia), and Quynci Joyner (Arkansas).

The final court for the 2013 pageant is: Laura Valenti (Louisiana), Fourth Runner-Up, Quynci Joyner (Arkansas), Third Runner-Up, Sanam Azeem (Pakistan), Second Runner-Up, and Brandy Wendler (Northwest), First Runner-Up.

The Mrs. International Pageant system began 24 years ago.  The focus behind Mrs. International® is to showcase women 21 to 56 years old, married at least six months and a resident of the state or a citizen of the country she represents.  Each contestant competes in Interview Competition, which is valued for 50% of her overall score, Evening Gown, valued for 25% and Fitness Wear for 25%. Each contestant has the opportunity to select a platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting. Husbands are a direct part of the show, escorting their wives in the Evening Gown competition, and the husband crowns his wife titleholder. Haley Pontius crowned Miss Teen International 2013



Saturday, July 27, 2013, Haley Pontius was crowned Miss Teen International 2013.  Haley competed as Miss Teen Arkansas International against 43 teens from around the globe.  The remaining top five were: Laura McKenney, Miss Teen Alabama International (first runner-up), Ashlyn Cullifer, Miss Teen Florida International (second runner-up), Courtney Critz, Miss Teen West Coast International (third runner-up), and Jane Geist, Miss Teen California International (fourth runner-up).

The top ten for this year were: Courtney Critz (West Coast), Taylor Williams (Maryland), Madison VanDyke (District of Columbia), Jayne Geist (California), Ashlyn Cullifer (Florida), Haley Pontius (Arkansas), Megan Riesner (Illinois), Laura McKenney (Alabama), Angel Cartwright (Bahamas), and Madison Macher (Virginia).

Haley will use her year to promote platform, “Heart Health: It’s a family affair!” as well as the official Miss International alliance with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women.

The Teen and Miss International Pageants are Mrs. International productions. Mrs. International began 23 years ago and the Teen competition was developed to promote today's teens, ages 13 - 18, the Miss competition was created to showcase single women, who are 19 to 29 years old and their accomplishments. Each contestant competes in Interview competition, which is valued at 40% of their total score, Evening Gown, valued for 20%, Fitness Wear for 20%, and Fun Fashion Wear 20%. Each contestant also has the opportunity to select a platform of her choice.

Jesse Ladoue crowned Miss International 2013

.  Jesse competed as Miss New York International against 45 women from around the globe.  The remaining top five were: Charity Bess, Miss Minnesota International (first runner-up), Jan Humphrey, Miss Netherlands International (second runner-up), Mollie Parker, Miss Arkansas International (third runner-up), and Lauren Stopher, Miss Idaho International (fourth runner-up).

The top ten for this year were: Ashley Greenfield (Virginia), Mollie Parker (Arkansas), Samantha Riddle (Texas), Tiffany Allen (California), Taylor Wagner (North Dakota), Rachel Syktich (Pennsylvania), Lauren Stopher (Idaho), Charity Bess (Minnesota), Jan Humphrey (Netherlands), and Jesse Ladoue (New York).

Jesse Ladoue, Miss International 2013, will use her year to promote platform, “Volunteerism: Building Stronger Communities Through Service” as well as the official Miss International alliance with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women.

Meet the Miss World Chile 2013 Contestants

The Miss World Chile 2013 pageant or Proyecto Miss Chile 2013 will be held on July 18, 2013. Camila Recabarren, Miss World Chile 2012, will be on hand to crown her successor at the conclusion of the event. The winner will go on to represent Chile in Miss World 2013, scheduled for September 29th in Jakarta, Indonesia.


This year, Proyecto Miss Chile 2013 will be taking on a new format.  The format will follow that of a reality show similar to America’s Next Top Model or Nuestra Bellezza Latina and can be seen on Canal 13 (Channel 13).  The pageant is being produced by Miss Chile World 1995 Tonka Timicic Petric.

Eight finalists have been selected to compete in the final event:

4. Francisca Canas is 18 years old

Wei Wei Yu crowned Miss World China 2013


Wei Wei Yu was crowned Miss World China 2013 Sunday, July 14th, 2013 at the Galaxy Soho in Beijing.  Yu is 25 years old and will represent China at the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for Indonesia September 28, 2013.  The first-runner was Hui Ning Chen and the second runner-up was Yuan Yuan Jiang; Ting Miao and Hui Zhu Liu rounded out the Top Five.



This was Yu’s third time competing for the title of Miss World China.  She was the second runner-up in Miss World China 2011 and Miss World China 2009.  The reigning Miss World Wenxia Yu was present at the finale to crown her national successor Wei Wei Yu.  China is buzzing with the thought that Wei Wei Yu may take the international title of Miss World this year and give China a victory for the second year in a row.
