Idolly Louise Saldivar crowned Miss World Belize 2013

Idolly Louise Saldivar was selected as Miss World Belize 2013 in an event held at the Princess Hotel in Belize City on August 10. An aspiring dentist, the 23 year old will represent Belize in Miss World 2013 in Bogor, Indonesia on September 28, 2013.

Ketsia Lioudy Crowned Miss World Haiti 2013

 Ketsia Lioudy was crowned Miss Haiti World 2013 pageant held at the Karibe Convention Center in PĂ©tionville on Thursday, July 25th, 2013.


 Ketsia will represent Haiti in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th in Bogor, Indonesia.  It will be the first time since 1975 that Haiti is represented at a Miss World pageant. 

The first runner-up was Clara Luce Lafond.  As first runner up Clara received the title of  Miss Haiti International 2013. The second runner-up was Daina Augustin.

Meet the Miss World Chile 2013 Contestants

The Miss World Chile 2013 pageant or Proyecto Miss Chile 2013 will be held on July 18, 2013. Camila Recabarren, Miss World Chile 2012, will be on hand to crown her successor at the conclusion of the event. The winner will go on to represent Chile in Miss World 2013, scheduled for September 29th in Jakarta, Indonesia.


This year, Proyecto Miss Chile 2013 will be taking on a new format.  The format will follow that of a reality show similar to America’s Next Top Model or Nuestra Bellezza Latina and can be seen on Canal 13 (Channel 13).  The pageant is being produced by Miss Chile World 1995 Tonka Timicic Petric.

Eight finalists have been selected to compete in the final event:

1. Camila Andrade is 22 years old
2. Dahyanna Vasquez is 22 years old
3. Florencia Dunnage is 19 years old
4. Francisca Canas is 18 years old
5. Johanna Ferrari, 24 years old
6. Marcia Herrera is 19 years old
7. Renata Barchiesi, 22 years old
8. Romina Lancellotti, 22 years old

Wei Wei Yu crowned Miss World China 2013

Wei Wei Yu was crowned Miss World China 2013 Sunday, July 14th, 2013 at the Galaxy Soho in Beijing.  Yu is 25 years old and will represent China at the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for Indonesia September 28, 2013.  The first-runner was Hui Ning Chen and the second runner-up was Yuan Yuan Jiang; Ting Miao and Hui Zhu Liu rounded out the Top Five.



This was Yu’s third time competing for the title of Miss World China.  She was the second runner-up in Miss World China 2011 and Miss World China 2009.  The reigning Miss World Wenxia Yu was present at the finale to crown her national successor Wei Wei Yu.  China is buzzing with the thought that Wei Wei Yu may take the international title of Miss World this year and give China a victory for the second year in a row.
