Miranne Geerman is representing Aruba at this year's Mrs. Universe pageant. The pageant is taking place in Aruba on Sunday, August 11, 2013, at the Westin Resort & Casino. Thirty women from around the world will be competing for the title of Mrs. Universe.
According to the website Miranne is 26 years old, and is engaged to her longtime boyfriend. The two have a beautiful 4 year old daughter. She participated at the Miss Universe Aruba pageant in 2007. During the pageant she gave a presentation about the Foundation Casa Cuna Progreso. The assistance that Casa Cuna Progreso offers focuses merely on children who are in a difficult parenting situation. She wanted to make people aware of the importance of a child’s infancy & upbringing towards the future.
After obtaining her Associate Degree in 2007 she moved to Holland to continue with her Bachelor’s Degree. In 2012 she moved back with her family to Aruba and is currently working at HenriquezCroes & Co. Accounting. At the end of the day, her most important job is being a mom and knowing it is her responsibility to raise her daughter. Her daughter is her heart & the center of her world.
Her goal as Mrs. Universe Aruba 2013 is focused in helping victims of domestic violence. Many cases are often ignored & remain a taboo in our community. She wants to encourage the victims to get help and take the steps to live a better & happier life.
